You can't manage for improvement if you don't measure to see what is getting better and what isn't. This article will help you know what to measure and how.

Steve Morris is the inspiring Founder of EXIT in Toronto, Ontario, Canada which opened for business on September 3rd, 1996.

In 1984, Mr. Morris joined RE/MAX and in 1985 was awarded the prestigious designation of Top Sales Manager in North America. In 1989, Mr. Morris earned the Top Broker/Owner of the Year award for multiple offices in Ontario/Atlantic Canada for RE/MAX.

From 1984 to 1996 Steve Morris worked for RE/MAX of Toronto, Canada where he personally recruited more than three hundred and seventy-five (375) sales representatives into the Re/Max System and built the Second Largest Office in North America for Re/Max with over one hundred (100) agents. Prior to working with RE/MAX, Steve Morris was a Manager of the Permanent Real Estate Company, which was then the third largest real estate company in Canada with more than 90 offices. He was promoted to District Sales Manager over Southern Ontario, Canada, in 1981.

Prior to his career in real estate management, Steve Morris was a stock broker for six years and a top life insurance salesman for Manulife for three years.

Tami Bonnell

Tami Bonnell, who has been President of EXIT Realty’s US Organization since 2001, is a thirty-year veteran of the real estate industry and was instrumental in building three major brands.  Among her many achievements, she was recognized by real estate trend-watcher, Stefan Swanepoel, as one of the 100 Most Influential Women in Real Estate. In addition to her responsibilities at EXIT Realty she is a wife, mother of three, grandmother of three and a martial artist, coach, judge and referee.

John Steffey

Vice President of Business Development


John W. Steffey Jr. CRB, CRS, is a 45 year veteran of the Real Estate Industry.  He comes from a family tradition when his grandfather founded Chas H. Steffey Realtors,  Inc. in 1902. John started his career as a sales agent for 3 years and got into managing his family’s Real Estate offices after he earned his Broker License in 1974.  

As regional manager of Chas H. Steffey, Inc. he oversaw the growth of 8 brokerage offices.  During his career he was also involved in residential and commercial development and property management. After selling his Brokerage he joined the HFS group and was Regional Director of the Mid- Atlantic for 18 years, affiliating startup companies, Brokerage conversions and consulting companies for merger and acquisitions for Century 21, Coldwell Banker and ERA. After discovering the power and business model of EXIT Realty is joined them in 2008. Believing in the enormous growth of EXIT he became a financial investor.

Major Boyd

Business & Growth Director of EXITMID-ATLANTIC 


With over 22 years of Real Estate experience. Major offers a lifetime of skills and authentic real life achievement. Starting as a licensed agent in 1992, Major started his real estate career at Otis Warren Real Estate in Baltimore Maryland. After a few years as General Broker of Sales and Marketing, he decided to explore new home sales and found himself with Ryland Homes. Over a span of 4 years, Major worked for many builders-large and small, as well as custom luxury builders and developers, Major re-entered the General Brokerage business as a Branch Office manager for Coldwell Banker. Major is credited with the sudden growth of that office from 47 agents to over 130 agents in under a year's time. After a successful term of management he moved to Director of Career Development mentoring and training-coaching thousands nationwide on the unlimited possibilities one could reach in their real estate career.

Now working with EXIT Realty and EXIT MID-ATLANTIC,Major is back to what he does best which is recruiting and mentoring, as well as Franchise Sales in the MID-ATLANTIC region.  He looks forward to positively affecting the image and overall success of EXIT Realty and individual agents in the surrounding areas. 

Elaine Marsicano

With 33 years in real estate, working with some of the most highly ranked companies, Elaine has worked to become an expert in the fields of franchise sales and merger acquisitions. Her background and experience have given her a clear vision of what works and what doesn’t in terms of customer relations and real estate as a whole.

Elaine has stated, trying to reinvent the wheel is a costly and timely endeavor. Instead, she encourages Agents, Brokers and Owners alike to take from herself, and others, who have learned the best way to be successful is to latch on to a solid brand that gives you good recognition in your market. She prides herself in being backed by a company that doesn’t just say what it will do, but actually does it. She believes that is the key that sets her apart from others in the industry in terms of being able to make promises she knows she will keep, in addition to being able to offer several value-added solutions.

Scott Talarico

Scott is a seasoned entrepreneur with over 30 years of experience in sales and promotion, spending a considerable amount of that time leading and managing large executive sales teams. In just a six month period, Scott was pivotal in building a team for Robb Capital that has developed a pipeline of over 300 million dollars in commercial real estate loan requests.

Prior to joining the EXIT Realty family as Regional Director for EXIT Mid-Atlantic, Scott was also the managing owner of one of the nation’s most successful Ford dealerships. It was there he lead both the finance department along with the day to day business operations.

Since then, Scott has been immersed in real estate and commercial real estate finance over the last eight years, and has become a pivotal part of the business development/franchise sales for EXIT Mid-Atlantic.

Brian Robb

Brian Robb is an Investor & Real Estate Executive who began his career at the age of 18, immersing himself in the field of commercial real estate finance. This path eventually led him to the creation of Robb Capital when he was 24 years of age, which today is a premier commercial real estate finance & advisory firm.

Shortly after his company’s initial launch, Mr. Robb arranged financing for a 27.75-million-dollar transaction, deeming it the number 6 loan nationwide according to Fitch Ratings. He has also meticulously recruited, trained, and supervised over 60 high-level sales executives for Robb Capital, most notably, a former CFO for JP Morgan Chase.

Brian Robb is also the founder of, a job board and executive recruitment firm he formed upon noticing the inadequacies of traditional recruitment methods when searching for top tier talent for his firm, Robb Capital. In addition, he also serves as the Chief Marketing Officer for EXIT Realty across 9 states which have a combined total of 160 offices. He is an Owner of EXIT Realty Palms, a residential real estate brokerage located in Delray, Florida which hired over 60 agents in a 10 week period, shortly becoming the fastest growing EXIT Realty office (out of 531+ offices), in direct correlation to innovative marketing/recruitment methods.

Mr. Robb is currently obtaining his MBA from Imperial College London, a university which was recently ranked #2 globally; and holds a Master of Science in Real Estate from Cass Business School.
