Measure Success

LEADERSHIP SUPPORT IN EXIT

 

Steve Morris is the inspiring Founder of EXIT in Toronto, Ontario, Canada which opened for business on September 3rd, 1996.

In 1984, Mr. Morris joined RE/MAX and in 1985 was awarded the prestigious designation of Top Sales Manager in North America. In 1989, Mr. Morris earned the Top Broker/Owner of the Year award for multiple offices in Ontario/Atlantic Canada for RE/MAX.

From 1984 to 1996 Steve Morris worked for RE/MAX of Toronto, Canada where he personally recruited more than three hundred and seventy-five (375) sales representatives into the Re/Max System and built the Second Largest Office in North America for Re/Max with over one hundred (100) agents. Prior to working with RE/MAX, Steve Morris was a Manager of the Permanent Real Estate Company, which was then the third largest real estate company in Canada with more than 90 offices. He was promoted to District Sales Manager over Southern Ontario, Canada, in 1981.

Prior to his career in real estate management, Steve Morris was a stock broker for six years and a top life insurance salesman for Manulife for three years.

Tami Bonnell, who has been President of EXIT Realty’s US Organization since 2001, is a thirty-year veteran of the real estate industry and was instrumental in building three major brands.  Among her many achievements, she was recognized by real estate trend-watcher, Stefan Swanepoel, as one of the 100 Most Influential Women in Real Estate. In addition to her responsibilities at EXIT Realty she is a wife, mother of three, grandmother of three and a martial artist, coach, judge and referee.

John W. Steffey Jr. CRB, CRS, is a 45 year veteran of the Real Estate Industry.  He comes from a family tradition when his grandfather founded Chas H. Steffey Realtors,  Inc. in 1902. John started his career as a sales agent for 3 years and got into managing his family’s Real Estate offices after he earned his Broker License in 1974.  


As regional manager of Chas H. Steffey, Inc. he oversaw the growth of 8 brokerage offices.  During his career he was also involved in residential and commercial development and property management. After selling his Brokerage he joined the HFS group and was Regional Director of the Mid- Atlantic for 18 years, affiliating startup companies, Brokerage conversions and consulting companies for merger and acquisitions for Century 21, Coldwell Banker and ERA. After discovering the power and business model of EXIT Realty is joined them in 2008. Believing in the enormous growth of EXIT he became a financial investor.

Bertram Reed

Bertram Reed has been in real estate for over two decades. As a new agent he was featured in both the Washington Times and Washington Post newspapers for his listing and sales production and his creative way in bringing structure to the real estate business.


As a trainer he has helped agents realize their potential by training hundreds of agents on the local and national levels.

While serving as a real estate manager, he received numerous awards for being the number one recruiter in a company of more than five hundred offices, recruiting over one hundred agents annually for multiple years. In 2007 he was named executive of the year!


Bertram has worked as a trainer coach for one of the EXIT offices, helping it to grow to number one status among all other offices.


He is also a life coach and is DISC certified.

With over 22 years of Real Estate experience. Major offers a lifetime of skills and authentic real life achievement. Starting as a licensed agent in 1992, Major started his real estate career at Otis Warren Real Estate in Baltimore Maryland. After a few years as General Broker of Sales and Marketing, he decided to explore new home sales and found himself with Ryland Homes. Over a span of 4 years, Major worked for many builders-large and small, as well as custom luxury builders and developers, Major re-entered the General Brokerage business as a Branch Office manager for Coldwell Banker. Major is credited with the sudden growth of that office from 47 agents to over 130 agents in under a year's time. After a successful term of management he moved to Director of Career Development mentoring and training-coaching thousands nationwide on the unlimited possibilities one could reach in their real estate career.


Now working with EXIT Realty and EXIT MID-ATLANTIC,Major is back to what he does best which is recruiting and mentoring, as well as Franchise Sales in the MID-ATLANTIC region.  He looks forward to positively affecting the image and overall success of EXIT Realty and individual agents in the surrounding areas.

Kevin recently joined the EXIT Mid-Atlantic Regional Team as a Regional Director. With over 30 years of real estate experience, both as an Agent, Broker and Consultant/Coach, he has had the privilege of working with some of the largest franchises, as well as the smallest startup brokerages, in various capacities. These capacities varied from Agent to Coach to Consultant to CEO, but all encompass one key trait, building successful businesses. Whether that means evaluating and turning a struggling brokerage/office into a profitable franchise/office, or building an Agent powerhouse team from the ground up and recruiting talent for the correct seats on the bus, he has been down in the trenches with the owners, formulating the plan and, more importantly, executing that plan. Kevin is a King maker and empire builder, available to assist you one on one or via independent consulting for a specific issue or practice. 

He has also been/is a national trainer coaching Agents and Leadership in recruiting and production with 2,500+ clients across the world and can offer you some great office group training programs or one on one access.

Michael James is a former professional athlete from London, England. He started his transition into real estate in 1992 and in 2004 made it his full time focus. Throughout his career in real estate, he has gained a wide scope of experience working and building offices with many of the top real estate companies, including Keller Williams, ReMax and Century 21.


After meeting the Mid-Atlantic owners, Rick and Carol McDaniel, and discovering the 5 pillars that EXIT Realty is formed upon, he decided to make a commitment to build the EXIT Realty brand and make EXIT Realty his new home.


As an Associate Broker he has the depth of knowledge and credibility to understand the needs of our agents and help to bring them to the next level of their business.
